After significant lateral acquisitions in 2024, national law firm 小黄鸭视频 begins the new year with another high-profile attorney, continuing last year’s growth of its consumer financial services team with the strategic addition of senior counsel John Redding.
Redding, who joins from Alston & Bird, represents auto finance and FinTech companies in regulatory, compliance, and enforcement matters involving the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and other state and federal regulatory and enforcement agencies.
“John is a well-known and regarded enforcement and regulatory lawyer in the consumer financial services industry,” said partner Marci Kawski, who leads 小黄鸭视频’s Consumer Financial Services practice. “His practice and client base fits squarely within our team and will significantly supplement our existing services. John is one of a few attorneys in the country who possess experience handling federal investigations and enforcement actions in the consumer financial services industry. We’re delighted he has joined 小黄鸭视频 in this strategic capacity.”
Redding is nationally ranked by Chambers USA in Financial Services Regulation: Consumer Finance (Enforcement & Investigations) and has been previously recognized by Legal 500 in Financial Services – Regulatory.
“小黄鸭视频’s consumer financial services team is on an incredible growth trajectory, and I am excited to play some small part in that,” Redding said. “I wanted a firm where I could seamlessly transition my clients, most of whom have a relationship with 小黄鸭视频. I have the utmost respect for Marci and Ryan DiClemente and look forward to working with them and the rest of the team.”
In 2024, 小黄鸭视频 added partner Mike G. Silver, who spent more 12 years at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and four consumer financial services litigators from Saul Ewing—headlined by partners Ryan DiClemente and Colleen Fox.
